Spring break begins late Friday afternoon, as students at all levels of school look forward to a week away from class, books and homework.

Ground has broken for the new turf fields at Keizer Rapids Park. The $4 million project features two fields of turf available to all sports and organizations that will register with the city of Keizer to use once their operational.
