
Nine Celts qualify for XC state championships

McNary boys cross country came away with another overall top finish in a league meet at Wednesday’s Central Valley Conference District Preview at Oak Knoll Golf Course.
At Wednesday’s Central Valley Conference meet at Bush Park, McNary cross country varsity boys took first place, and the varsity girls placed second.
Junior Vince Estrada finished with the top time in the boys competition as the Celtics finished second as a team.
The cross country season opened Friday night, Aug. 25, at Wilsonville High School with the Night Meet
McNary freshman Jocelyn Schnurbusch finished fifth in the girls varsity 5,000 meters silver event at the Rose City Championship Invite in Portland on Friday.
Jocelynn Schnurbusch and Brayden Kaehler each set McNary records on Wednesday against South Salem.
