Intuit Turbo Tax is working to redo tax returns 

Around 12,000 Oregon taxpayers who utilized the online filing program, TurboTax, to prepare their 2023 federal and state tax returns may be entitled to reduce their taxes owed or increase their refund by amending their state return, according to the Oregon Department of Revenue. 

Learn to fish day at Keizer Rapids Park 

Willamette Outreach Group and other community partners hosted more than 40 attendees for a learn to fish day on a beautiful day at Keizer Rapids Park near the boat ramp on Saturday, May 11.

Keizer man involved in a lethal hit-and-run accident 

A Salem man, Randall Dale Wilson, age 75, died Wednesday, May 8, at a Portland-area hospital as the result of injuries sustained from a hit-and-run incident that occurred at 11:30 a.m. on May 5, at the 4100 block of Rickey Street SE, Salem. 

Wilson was struck by Keizer-resident Gabriel Herrera, age 63. Herrera was identified and arrested later in the day on May 5, and originally charged with failure to perform the duties of a driver.
