The Lady Celts were up at Mountainside to start their Spring Break with four games on Monday and Tuesday. After losing the first, McNary rallied back winning its final three games of the tournament.

Lady Celts’ strong season ends in 1st round
McNary girls basketball was on the road Tuesday night in the first round of the OSAA state championship playoffs. They took on the No. 9 Oregon City Lady Pioneers, and while they kept things close in the first half, the Lady Celts lost their playoff matchup 65-34.

McNary boys basketball struggled Friday night in the regular season finale against South Salem, losing to the Saxons 67-57, their second loss in a row after winning six straight.

Lady Celts can’t pass final test from Titans
McNary girls basketball couldn’t find an answer for West Salem Tuesday night, losing 70-33. The three games against West Salem are the only blemishes on McNary’s league record in the Central Valley Conference this season.
