The McNary High School junior was one of five competing for the title in the scholarship program, a Keizer tradition that dates back half a century.
"Waiting for Waiting for Godot," a satirical look at the classic play, runs June 13-29 at the Keizer Homegrown Theatre.
McNary's symphony orchestra took second place, while the chamber orchestra came in third at the state music competition in Corvallis.
Art Association members will show their works in June at the gallery in the Keizer Cultural Center.
Curtain time is 7 p.m. nightly through May 17 at McNary High School. There also will be a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday.
Artists will share their techniques in a variety of media at the Riverwalk Art Fair May 16-18.
Theresa Bondi's works earned her recognition as the May artist of the month at Keizer Art Association, and she also won the iris poster contest.
