The Keizer Police Department will hold Faith and Blue on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Central Cristiano Agape Church at 1610 Chemawa Rd. NE (near the Verda Lane round-about).
The nation-wide event is designed to create stronger and safer communities by opening dialogue between law enforcement and faith-based organizations.
The Keizer event, scheduled for 4-7 p.m. will feature a barbecue, volleyball, bounce house and other activities.
Eight to 10 officers and cadets will attend, including new police chief Andrew Copeland.
