At approximately 2:17 p.m. on Tuesday, Keizer Police responded to a 911 call at the Keizer Station Apartments in the 5400 block of McLeod Lane NE.
As a result, a 21-year-old male was charged with misdemeanor domestic menacing after he threatened his 21-year-old ex-girlfriend with a firearm.
Lt. Andrew Copeland has been promoted to Keizer Police Chief, to succeed John Teague, the city of Keizer announced Wednesday, Sept. 13.
Chief John Teague is retiring on Sept. 30, closing out a 34 year law enforcement career.
