The McNary Celtics couldn’t slow down quarterback Brock Thomas and the top-ranked Sheldon Irish on Friday. Thomas and the Irish scored on their first three offensive plays, on the way to a 62-6 victory.
But to the Celtics and head coach Connor Astley’s credit, they didn’t quit, shutting out the Irish in the second half.
