A provision tucked into federal spending legislation is going to bring sidewalks to a stretch of Northeast Verda Lane in Keizer.
Congress earmarked $850,000 for the project after Keizer enlisted the help of U.S. Rep. Andrea Salinas. The Democrat represents Keizer in the House.
