Those who call on first responders for medical care in Keizer, but don’t live in the area, will now pay more for service than local residents.
Chief Ryan Russell said the Keizer Fire District is joining the Salem Fire Department and Marion County District 1 in implementing the additional fees. The increased charges will apply to patients who don’t live in the areas covered by the three fire agencies.
