UPDATE: OSAA reschedules wrestling state championships, 6A Saturday and Sunday

**UPDATE Feb. 23, 12:45 p.m.**

The OSAA has announced the revised schedule for the wrestling state championships. Boys 5A and 6A and girls 5A/6A matches will now be held Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday will consist of first round through the semifinals, beginning at 9 a.m. Championship matches will be held Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.

Tickets that have already been purchased for the event will be valid for the following day. Tickets originally for Thursday will be valid for Friday, Friday valid for Saturday and Saturday valid for Sunday.

The start of the OSAA wrestling state championships has been postponed due to inclement weather in Portland. Opening rounds were scheduled for Thursday at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, located in the Portland Rose Quarter.

The OSAA announced Wednesday night that they were informed the venue, and entire Rose Quarter campus, is closed.

The tournament was scheduled to run Thursday through Sunday. No official revised schedule has been announced yet.

There are 11 McNary wrestlers scheduled to compete at the state championships.
