Tony’s Kingdom of Comics collected a small mountain of food donations for the Keizer Community Food Bank.
Halloween might have felt different this year, but one Keizer business still managed to offer a family event and boost the Keizer Community Food Bank.
Tony’s Kingdom of Comics collected more than 400 pounds of food and $285 in cash donations as part of its annual Horrorween celebration Saturday, Oct. 31.
Owner Tony Grove, a long-time supporter of the food bank, offers free comics in exchange for donations. The store is located at 3856 River Road N.

Oregon Sports Hall of Fame announces 2022 class
The Oregon Sports Hall of Fame will induct eight new members on July 31 at Key Bank Club at Providence Park. This year’s inductees are the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Oregon Tech men’s basketball teams, Dennis Erickson, Dave Gasser, Fred Jones, Terry Durham, Felicia Ragland, Becky Sisley and Connie Madigan.
