Enlightened Theatrics stages Avenue Q in Salem
Puppets, song tell the tale of Avenue Q at Enlightened Theatrics.

Enlightened Theatrics 2019 Season opens with the multi-Tony award winning musical, Avenue Q at Salem’s Historic Grand Theatre on Friday, March 22.
The musical tackles tough subjects like racism, unemployment, homosexuality, homelessness and love through catchy tunes, larger than life characters and puppetry. The production also has adult situations and may be inappropriate for children under 17.
The play runs through April 14. Performances are Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Preview performances occur Wednesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 21.

Box office hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and one hour prior to every performance at the theatre window.

Oregon Sports Hall of Fame announces 2022 class
The Oregon Sports Hall of Fame will induct eight new members on July 31 at Key Bank Club at Providence Park. This year’s inductees are the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Oregon Tech men’s basketball teams, Dennis Erickson, Dave Gasser, Fred Jones, Terry Durham, Felicia Ragland, Becky Sisley and Connie Madigan.
