Celtics volleyball drops second straight match
After opening the season with 11 consecutive wins, No. 5 McNary volleyball has come back down to Earth, dropping its last two matches.
The Celtics (11-2, 6-1) had won 30 of 36 sets through the first 11 games, but on Tuesday, Sept. 27, they fell to the No. 10 Sprague Olympians 3-1.

No luck for Celtics against No. 1 Irish
The McNary Celtics couldn’t slow down quarterback Brock Thomas and the top-ranked Sheldon Irish on Friday. Thomas and the Irish scored on their first three offensive plays, on the way to a 62-6 victory.
But to the Celtics and head coach Connor Astley’s credit, they didn’t quit, shutting out the Irish in the second half.
