McNary’s swim teams limbered up for the season with a nonleague meet on Thursday, Dec. 4, with teams from South Salem, North Salem and McKay.
Team scores weren’t posted but six Celts posted individual wins. Landon Perry won the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-year individual medley, Andrea Guevara won the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard breast stroke, and Evelyn Hales won the 100-yard freestyle and the 50-yard freestyle.
Others posting wins included Stella Pedersen in the 200 freestyle, Cassidy Kerner in the 100 fly and Abby Skipper in the 100 backstroke.
The girls relay team of Skipper, Guevara, Pedersen and Hales won the 200 medley and Skipper, Guevara, Hales and Carly Castaneda won the 200 free.
The Celts complete Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Blanchet Invitational and Thursday, Dec. 18, against Central, Dallas and McKay. The regular season begins in January.
