If you’re looking to have input on the next school budget, now’s your chance.
Salem-Keizer Public Schools is looking to fill three open budget committee positions. Appointees serve three-year terms, with these three terms ending June 30, 2026.
Interested parties must fill out an application, available on the SKPS website, and return a signed copy of it by 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2.
Candidates must be registered voters and residents of Salem-Keizer School District 24J, and not an employee, officer or agent of the district.

The school board will interview prospective candidates at the Oct. 24 school board meeting. Appointments are typically made at the same meeting.
