Keizer in limbo as redistricting begins
Oregon lawmakers released their first versions of redistricting maps on Sept. 3 and now have until Sept. 27 to submit finalized maps. The first maps indicate Keizer's political representation on the state level and in Congress for the next 10 years will see significant change.

Two local business owners have used incentives at their shops for over a decade to fundraise thousands of dollars for the Keizer Community Food Bank. “We were able to donate over the years I’d wager well over $30,000 in cash and I don’t know, tons and tons of food,” said Paul Elliott, owner of Uptown Music. “But that’s not Uptown Music that donated that. It’s the community that allowed us to be the vehicle to help.”
