Re: Doubling of police fee.

Thank you for keeping us informed on issues like this. 

I’m not sure what the normal municipal protocol is with something like this, but it seems to me if “City leaders believe they are being responsive to the community. Public safety is the top issue for people…” then those leaders should feel comfortable placing the proposed police-fee increase on the ballot to allow voters to weigh in on it.
