The Greater Gubser Neighborhood Association is going for a walk.
Beginning last week, the association is staging an evening walk throughout the northeast Keizer neighborhood.
Each evening, the walk will commence at 6:30 p.m. at Bob Newton Park, the informal stroll will wind throughout Gubser. Walkers are encouraged to bring along kids, dogs and friends.
The association’s Facebook page stated: “Let’s be the neighborhood that knows each other and encourages healthy activity.”
Walkers are also encouraged to bring a small garbage bag and stick with which to pick up trash along the way.
