From April 15 to 29, interested Keizerites can take a self guided tour, created by Keizer’s Environmental and Technical Division, through 15 informational checkpoints at Keizer Rapids Park.
Each checkpoint possesses a QR code that participants can scan and learn more about the area such as about the Willamette River, invasive plant species, First People’s tribes in the area and more.
The self-guided hike begins at the Keizer Rapids Park Boat Launch with a 0.5 mile loop while the QR codes allow listening to the audio or reading the description as you walk.
Checkpoint information can be found online at arcg.is/1OCSH40 for those unable to attend.
