It’s Christmas in Keizer

The holidays officially started in Keizer on Tuesday, Dec. 5, when Santa, with two helpers, switched on Keizer’s Christmas tree lights at Walery Plaza.

More than 200 people braved the rain. They enjoyed refreshments as they were entertained by Something Dangerous, a McNary High School a cappella group and Cascade Brass of te 234th Army Band of Oregon. Jodie Smalley also entertained as a Winter Fairy.

The names of five-year old Atticus and Jamie Kyser were drawn to assist with the tree lighting.
