Willamette University will present the world premiere of In the Deep, beginning Thursday, Oct. 26.
The production is a new musical about friendship, family, and surviving in unknown torrents after a storm strikes a college town.
The show was written and directed by three generations of Willamette University alumni—E.M. Lewis (class of 1994) wrote the book and lyrics. Clarence Roscoe McDonald (class of 2023) wrote the music. Carly Christensen (class of 2016) directs.
In the Deep will be performed in the M. Lee Pelton Theatre on campus.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays-Saturdays and 2 p.m. matinees on Sundays through Nov. 12.
