Hoop dreams for ballers in the Willamette Valley could come true.
The Salem Capitals have announced three tryout dates for the 2024 season.
The tryouts are scheduled for Oct. 7, Nov. 11 and Dec. 9 — all three dates a Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. — with a fourth tryout in January possibly being added.
Tryouts will be held at the Captitals home arena, the Salem Armory, 2310 17th St NE.
Online registration is open. Registration forms can be found at salemcapitalsbasketball.com/team-tryouts.
Early bird registration costs $150. Day of registration at the door is $200.
Those that register early will also be eligible for pre-tryout open gyms at no additional cost.
The Capitals have 12 active roster spots as well as two paid practice squad positions.
The Capitals had the largest home attendance in the TBL West last season, and expect the crowds to continue growing in their third season.
