Road closures along River Road for the KeizerFEST Parade will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13.
Lockhaven Drive between River Road N and McClure Street N will be closed to all traffic for the parade staging area. Parade entries must take Chemawa Road N to Windsor Island Road N, then take Lockhaven Drive eastbound to the staging area.
River Road will be closed to all traffic from Plymouth Drive NE to Lockhaven Drive N starting at 9 a.m. Northbound traffic will be routed to Salem Parkway through Cherry Avenue. Southbound traffic on River Road from north Keizer will be diverted eastbound to Lockhaven Drive.
Traffic will be allowed to periodically cross River Road at Chemawa Road prior to the start of the parade and other events.
The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. and head south on River Road N. from Lockhaven Drive N. The parade will end at Glynbrook Street N.
River Road is expected to reopen around 12:30 p.m.
Those planning on attending the parade are asked to provide adequate room of at least 3-feet around any chairs placed along River Road.
