The Keizer Art Association is looking for interested musicians to play at the art fair happening at Keizer Rapids Park.
Kicking off the parade this year was the annual Mayor’s Pet Parade. This pre-parade allows Keizerites the chance to bring their dogs for a walk, show them off to the city and maybe even win an award.
With a new time in May, the Bloomin' Iris Day Parade hit the streets over the weekend, May 17, and with a great turnout from Keizerites; the city, its leadership, its businesses and schools came together to represent the Keizer motto: Spirit, Pride and Volunteerism.
May will see changes to beloved Keizer events.
KeizerFEST 2023 will be the last in its current form before things change for 2024.
A remnant of the Keizer Iris Festival is the selection of a formal iris for KeizerFEST, now held in August.
An iris is selected 15 months before the festival to allow the Keizer Art Association (KAA) to hold a festival poster contest for artists. The official art is selected in May each year for the following year’s KeizerFEST.

Saturday night at KeizerFEST was filled with music. The talented students from McNary High School's Audio Production and Technology program, the FlexTones and Rhythm & Business before JFK closed the night out.
