Whiteaker Middle School’s 10th annual Stuff the Bus event will take place Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Safeway parking lot.
Three Keizer students receive Turnaround Awards
Middle school and high school students from the Keizer-Salem area were honored, including three from Keizer, on Tuesday at the 27th Turnaround Achievement Awards at the Keizer Community Center.

These are some crafty students
Twice a week up to 30 Whiteaker Middle School students head to a classroom before regular classes begin. Sixth, seventh and eighth grade boys and girls gather for the Craft Club at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays.
Craft Club is not a class, there are no credits offered. Teacher Sundey Turney and special program instruction assistant Shawna Dolph lead the club.
Six Keizer educators receive Crystal Apple noms
The official list of nominees for the 2023 Crystal Apple Awards was released, and six Keizer school educators are among the 89 names up for recognition.
