Keizer's legislators are urging approval of $778,000 in state funds to buy land and start design of the new facility, a joint effort of the Keizer Fire District and Marion County Fire District 1.

Keizer's state representative is pushing a funding request of nearly $800,000 before the Legislature to start work on a new public safety building in the Keizer area. The Keizer Fire District and Marion County Fire District 1 are working together on the project.
