McNary girls basketball cruised past Sprague Tuesday with a 75-32 win, their largest win of the season and second highest point total.

Aubri Cabral's breakout night wasn't quite enough for the Lady Celts against West Salem on Tuesday night, as the Titans rallied in the fourth quarter for a 68-63 comeback victory.

Ali Martinez came away with another tournament top-finish, this time qualifying for the state tournament, as 11 Lady Celts competed at the 6A/5A Special District 2 regional championship.

Behind 18 points from sophomore Steven Adams and a 13-3 run in the third quarter, the Celtics defeated the Saxons on Friday night, drawing the season series even at 1-1.

McNary and Sprague met for the final dual meet of the season with the Central Valley Conference championship on the line. And in a highly competitive night, the Olympians took the final five matches of the night to win the CVC title.

The seniors from McNary and West Salem were honored in their final league meet of the season on Thursday. The Titans came away with wins from both the boys and girls teams.

McNary wrestling was on the road Wednesday at West Salem with a chance to stay undefeated in the Central Valley Conference and set up a meeting next week with Sprague for the league title.
