Salem Police assisted in the arrest that resulted in charges of armed robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of firearms.

Residents to council: Condemn white supremacy
Keizer residents showed up to express their displeasure with the Value Statement drafted by the Keizer City Council during their work session on Oct. 26. Some comments were directed at Councilor Dan Kohler for his specific comments. Kholer was absent from the meeting due to family commitments.

2020 is the year without parades for Keizer. Keizer Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Danielle Bethell said she hopes next year's parade will be, "bigger and better".
