A long-time Keizer business has stepped up as the first sponsor of a sports field at the city’s Keizer Rapids Park.
The Keizer City Council on May 4 approved a deal to brand one field as Loren’s Field.
Loren’s Sanitation, a garbage hauler and recycler founded in Keizer in 1958, paid $50,000 for the naming rights. Its contract with the city calls for a $25,000 payment by Aug. 1 and another $25,000 next Feb. 1.
