Good weather and a good crowd showed up for the Keizer Police Department’s community barbecue on Saturday, Aug. 30.
The event was summer-ending fun that helped police connect with local youth before the start of school.
Kids could explore a police SWAT vehicle and a Keizer Fire District engine. They could get school supplies given away by Keizer police.
