Keizer charity giant Tony Grove receives posthumous award

The Keizer City Council has awarded the Volunteer of the Quarter award posthumously to Tony Grove.

His daughter, AnnMare Grove, received the award during the council’s meeting on Monday, July 1.

According to the award nomination, “Grove has left a lasting legacy of generosity, inclusion, love and laughter. He used his business of Tony’s Kingdom of Comics and Collectibles to promote the arts, literacy, and community involvement and commitment.”

Grove ran and owned his comic store in Keizer for 17 years before his passing.
