KPD adds a new officer, three new reserves

The Keizer Police Department has a new full-time police officer and three new reserve police officers.

Officer Paul Quintero was hired full time in January. He spent 16 weeks at the Department of Public Safety and Standards Police Academy and graduated on May 10. Quintero and his family moved to Keizer from Southern California to be closer to family. He previously worked at Intel.

Reserve Officer Collin Brill was raised in Marion County. He was very involved in FFA, both raising and judging swine. He is currently a student at Oregon State University where he is studying agricultural sciences and is a member of the OSU Marching Band.

Reserve Officer Izach Brown is from the Sublimity area. He recently received his associate’s degree in criminal justice from Chemeketa Community College and works at Home Depot.

Reserve Officer Trenton Webb is from Albany. He currently works at and was instrumental in opening the Lowe’s store in Albany.
