The community was disrupted with a police chase in south Keizer on Wednesday that ended in a fatal shooting at a Keizer apartment complex.
The Oregon State Police identified the man who died as Shawn L. Baker, 42, who lived in Keizer. Two Salem Police Department officers involved in the shooting were placed on paid administrative leave, a normal procedure in such circumstances.
We’ll have a full story on our website later today.
