From the news room

Hello Keizer….

February is Black History Month. The theme in 2024 is African Americans and the Arts. Explore the many ways African Americans have shaped culture in the United States and around the world.

Closer to home, the proposed 5-Year Strategic Plan is getting mixed reviews. The plan’s six goals lay out 58 steps over the next 60 months. Some say the plan is too ambitious and too expensive. Others think it is a way to put Keizer on the path for continued successl

Art is important to the quality of life. In February the Keizer Art Association celebrate our youth with their annual McNary Student Show running now through Feb. 29. Stop by the Enid Joy Mount Gallery at the Keizer Cultual Center and discover how our youth see the world.
