The Keizer Fire District has joined forces with a neighboring fire district to better protect Keizer residents.
The Clear Lake fire station, historically assigned to the Marion County Fire District 1, now also houses a Keizer ambulance unit.
“We’ve been looking for more cooperative ways to work together,” said Keizer Fire Chief Ryan Russell. “We are trying to do more with less.”
