Police Scanner – April 14 – April 19
A neighbor called police about a man trying to get into a home in the 4400 block of North Cedar Avenue on Tuesday, April 14.
The man was pounding on the front door and a front window was broken, according to Keizer police, causing about $1,000 in damage.
Jeremy R. Priddy, 41, of Keizer, was arrested for criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Police reported it wasn’t clear what was Priddy’s connection to the home.
•In other activity, police responded to the report of a shoplifter at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at the 7-Eleven store at 5550 River Rd. N.
Officers found the suspected thief riding a bike as he turned down Northeast Maine Avenue.
“While taking him into custody, the suspect fought and wrestled with officers until he was eventually placed into custody,” according to Lt. Trevor Wenning of the Keizer Police Department.
Travis M. Haugen, 25, listed as a transient, was arrested for second-degree theft and resisting arrest.
