As part of a Chick-Fil-A scholarship program, several of the chain’s Keizer employees have been awarded money for college.
The chicken restaurant’s Remarkable Futures scholarship is available to its employees across the country.
In Keizer, five people received $2,500 scholarships, and 11 got $1,000 scholarships.
Clint Peebles, owner of the Keizer franchise, said in an email that each winner detailed academic achievements, career goals, community involvement and financial need in their applications.
