After being nominated by coworkers, six McNary High School employees are in the running for a Crystal Apple Award for their efforts to educate and support their students.
The nominees include Stephanie Lassetter, Krista VanSlyke, Rosio Contreras, Diana Huerta-Cortez, Marcus Luther and Nancy Serrano.
School district officials wouldn’t disclose nominees from other Keizer schools until officials at those schools had gone public with the news.
