They came by the hundreds and they left behind thousands of dollars at the annual garage sale at McNary Estates on Saturday, Aug. 16.
Organizers handed out more than 2,000 maps to bargain-seekers arriving to prowl the once-a-year sale. Patty Scruggs, one of the organizers, said 120 homes held sales.
