Police Scanner – July 28 – August 3
Keizer police responded to residents calling the evening of Wednesday, July 30, to report a shirtless woman threatening people in the 3400 block of North Willamette Drive.
“The individual was acting aggressively, yelling, and swinging a metal pole in a threatening manner toward neighbors,” according to Lt. Chris Nelson of the Keizer Police Department.
She was “throwing items and shouting profanities” when officers arrived. The woman “charged at a resident with a heavy metal pole while yelling threats,” Nelson reported.
Chestina Rutledge, 40, of Keizer, was arrested for menacing, disorderly conduct and unlawful use of a weapon.
• Police also took reports of two stolen vehicles taken in Keizer.
Michael Warner reported on Tuesday, July 29, that his orange Datsun 280Z with Oregon license plate 630GTT was taken from in front of his home in the 800 block of North Cummings Lane. Warner told police he last saw the vehicle at about 2 a.m. that morning.
Later that day, Rachael Cade reported her black 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Oregon license plate 137DBZ was stolen sometime that afternoon. The vehicle was parked outside a group home in the 700 block of North Lost Lane where Cade works. The vehicle had a fuzzy pineapple hanging from the rearview mirror.
