The cable television hit “American Pickers” has been to Oregon several times going all the way back to 2017, and they have plans to come again in October. They are looking for tips on any great local collections. If you’re a household (businesses will not be featured) in Keizer with a large, unique collection of antiques – they want to make you famous.
The History Channel show tours the nation in search of treasures, with a goal to “give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.”
They aren’t interested in your “rusty gold,” however – they’re looking for genuine treasures, so if you think you have Picker’s-worthy collection, be prepared to prove it.
“If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through, send us your name, phone number, location, and description of the collection with photos to: [email protected], or call (646) 493-2184,” said show producer Jasmina Joseph.
Submissions can also be made through Facebook, at facebook: @GotAPick and must include full name, city/state, contact information and a brief description of the collection.
