Thousands of lights will brighten Magic at the Mill

Thousands of twinkling lights and holiday cheer will brighten the nights of Sunday, Dec. 19 through Thursday, Dec. 23 at Magic at the Mill at Willamette Heritage Center in Salem.

The COVID-friendly event celebrates connecting generations and interpreting Mid-Willamette Valley history. Masks will be required for all guests ages five and older regardless of vaccination status.

History will come to life with live performances, a visit with Santa while he relaxes in his living room behind the picture window.

Kids will be able to take home activity bags full of fun activities they can do at home.

Entertainment will include the Madrigal Singers, Figs-n-Thistles, Golden Flute, Constant Billy-FabVocalAcousticCeltic , Sometown Saxes, a brass quintet and more.

Food and drink will be available from Taproot: Old Mill Cafe.

Among the vendors at Magic at the Mill will include Fordyce Farm, Sparrow Furniture, SilverTide Jewelry, Raison Ethique and more.

Magic at the Mill will be open from 5:30 to 8 p.m. each night. Admission, to be limited each night, is $8 for adult, $7 for seniors, $5 for kids. Children under 2 and Willamette Heritage Center members are admitted for free.Get advance tickets at willametteheritage.org/magic-at-the-mill.
