City looking to fill vacancies

The City of Keizer is currently looking to fill a one vacancy on the Traffic Safety/Bikeways Pedestrian Committee. The committee is responsible for reviewing traffic safety issues in Keizer and meets every third Thursday of the month. The meetings take place at 6 p.m. at Keizer City Hall. 

The committee makes recommendations to the Keizer City Council on the creation, development and implementation of traffic safety activities, including bikeways and pedestrian routes. 

Community members interested in applying for the position can pick up an application at Keizer City Hall at 930 Chemawa Road or access the application on the City of Keizer website. Applications should be dropped at city hall or emailed to [email protected].

Applications received by Wednesday, February 2, 2022 will be interviewed at the Thursday, February 10, 2022 Volunteer Coordinating Committee meeting. 

Additionally, the city is also looking to find high school students interested in serving as Youth Committee Liaisons on various city committees. Opportunities are listed on the city website under volunteer information. High school students can apply online.
