The show at the Keizer Art Association (KAA) for August is the annual KAA Member Showcase.
Any art of any medium depicting the artist’s choice of subject may be entered. Intake for the art will be Wednesday, July 31 from 3 to 6 p.m.
All media will be accepted including 2D, 3D, photography or digital art. All work must be original to the artist. Artwork used within the last two years in the gallery will not be accepted. Each artist can submit up to four entries.
Judges will award ribbons to best of show and judge’s merit award. First, second and third place will be awarded in each of these media: 2-D art, photography, 3-D art, digital art and youth art. $50 will be awarded to best in show.
Member fees are $10 for the first piece, $15 for two pieces, $20 for three pieces, and $25 for four pieces. Non-member fees are $20 for the first piece, $25 for two pieces, $30 for three pieces and $35 for four pieces. Youth fees are $5 for up to two pieces. Commission fee for sales is 60 percent to the artist and 40 percent to KAA.
The artists’ reception will be held on Saturday, August 3 from 2 to 4 p.m., and the show will run from Thursday, August 1 through Tuesday, September 3.
