Parents, grandparents and students filled McNary High School’s auditorium on Friday, May 29, some carrying balloons and flowers.
They were there for a graduation ceremony for students participating in the school’s Unified program. These classes bring together students with and without disabilities, and include physical education, theater, culinary and art classes at McNary.
This year, McNary earned national recognition for its Unified program.
McNary’s main graduation ceremony will be held Friday, June 5.
