Tony’s Kingdom of Comic’s 12th annual free comic book day

Tony’s Kingdom of Comics and Collectibles will hold their 12th annual free comic book day and Star Wars Day charity event and food drive starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 at Tony’s Kingdom of Comics 3856 River Road N.

Participants can pick up to three free comics and an additional comic if they wear costumes or donate to the Keizer Community Food Bank.

DC and Marvel comic artists Randy Emberlin and Gary Martin will be available to sign comics and photos all day, Caesar the No Drama Lama will be present for free hugs and photos from 2 to 5 p.m., professional costume groups will make an appearance to take photos, and the Cherry City Bombers Car Club will showcase a few vehicles.

Ryan Weimer, the founder of Magic Wheelchair, a nonprofit organization that builds costumes for kids in wheelchairs, will also be present with a few of his builds and will hold a silent auction to raise money for the next MWC build.
