The 2019 Oregon Ag fest will be held at the Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center on Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Visitors can participate in events aimed to help families better understand where their food, fiber, and flora come from. Virtually all events will be free of charge, and kids can ride ponies, plant seedlings, watch sheep get sheared, pet farm animals, and more. Shows and presentations like the Craft and Garden Show will be present as well.
Tickets are $9 for ages 13 and up and free for children 12 and under. Participants can purchase tickets at the door. Credit cards, cash and personal checks will be accepted. Free parking will be available.
There will also be a Ranch Breakfast on Saturday, April 27, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $6 per person and free for children under three years of age. All proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the 4-H youth programs.
To avoid the lines, tickets can be purchased in advance at eventbrite.com, or at a local Wilco Farm Store.
