Hello Keizer:

Temperatures are expected to spike in our area beginning at the end of the weekend. Triple digits by early next week are not out of the question.

Enjoy KeizerFEST this weekend at Keizer Rapids Park—live entertainment, vendors, beer and spirits and meeting friends, old and new. The KeizerFEST parade is on Saturday morning, beginning at 10 a.m. Come out and celebrate Grand Marshal Linda Baker, founder of Keizer Homegrown Theatre and former drama teacher at McNary High School.

For cuteness overload, see the Mayor’s Pet Parade on Saturday morning at the corner of River Road and Lockhaven Drive. If you have a pet you want to show off, be there by 9:30 a.m.

If KeizerFEST wasn’t enough, the Vendaros Circus will be held under their big top at Volcanoes Stadium, this weekend and next.

If you have a news tip, contact the Keizertimes at 503-390-1051.

Have great weekend…
