Husseman wants to join council

Husseman says he is running because he wants to serve his community.
“I don’t want to sit on the sidelines in an observational role,” said Husseman. “I’ve speculated what kind of positive changes can made in the world. This is a test for me. I can serve with people I grew up with.”

Land conservation committee delivers 400-page set of rules to Keizer for climate reduction, equity

Oregon’s Land Conservation Development Commission (LCDC) recently completed a rule-making plan for the Salem-Keizer metro area designed to meet the state’s climate pollution reduction and land ownership equity goals.
